Student Nation Fine Arts Information
It's that time of year...the leaves are turning autumn colors and falling, cider mills are packed even though they sell the same thing all year, the Floridian youth pastor is shivering against the cold, and kids everywhere are playing music at 11 to find that perfect human video song!
That's right it's Fine Arts Season and here's some important information.
New Parents Info Session [Wednesday Oct 17 6pm]
For all the Newbie Fine Arts parents Meeting we will be having a very special info session this Wednesday at 6 pm. We'd like to get you up to speed on what Fine Arts is and how it will benefit your student.Mandatory Parent's Meeting [Sunday Oct 21, 15 mins after main service ends]
We are having a very special meeting for all Fine Arts parents. We will be handing out the 2013 Fine Arts Guide and explaining the program commitment. In 2012 we had a great year wil multiple State and National Merit awards. This year we hope to do even better in two ways.
- We want to foster a stronger ministry focus. In 2013 we will be upping our ministry opportunities.
- We want to create an Arts Academy under the Lakeside Student Nation. This will have the Fine Arts Competition component but will also include education, tutoring, community activity, special Arts Academy events and more!
Fine Arts Auditions [Sunday Oct 21, 1-4pm]
Lastly, we will be holding auditions. As always this is not an "In or Out" style audition where we select students who get into the program.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Instead our goal is to team up students who we feel would work best together. It will be a fun time so please make sure your student attends.
